Great Race Day One

First day of the Great Race.  Twas hot, sweaty, and full of penguins and pickles.

Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself.

You see, my school has this thing called the Great Race. Your pride or homeroom gets a color with their partner pride. Two prides in each of the two other grades get the same color, but you mainly stick with the people in your grade. You go around for two afternoons and do all these different events. It's kinda cool. I did one event today and have two tomorrow.


But it was so HOT. At least I got my running event out of the way.

(Oh, were you wondering about the penguins and pickles? Those were from a story Mar and I told our reading teacher. Maybe I'll type it up sometime.)

Melting

It's so HOT over here.  Why, Mother Nature, why? Why are you torturing us so? I'm melting. I'm turning into a Thalia puddle. This is cruel, Mother Nature. So, so cruel. You're killing me.


Mar, Mir. Clean up in aisle four. There's a puddle of Thalia-ness on the floor.


HA! THAT RHYMED!

Bah.

I'm eating sour candy.

That is all.

Eyjafjallajökull

That there is one of Iceland's volcanoes, Eyjafjallajökull.

If anyone can tell me how to pronounce that, I'll give you a proverbial cookie.

Well, This Is Interesting.

Hey there. Here's something to read:

The Exploded Files is a blog run by myself, Mir, and Mar. Originally, I wanted to make a new blog where I could post my ramblings and rants so that my main blog could be reserved for my writing. But then I had an idea.

Maybe Mar and Mir would like to run this blog too? What the heck would even happen if you put us three together, running a blog?

So I went up to them this morning and asked them if they wanted to help out with it. They said yes. We worked out some details, and here's what's up:

This blog is for random stuff. We may post links to pictures or music, quotes, stuff that happened to us, artwork, whatever. It's an explosion of random stuff, hence the name: The Exploded Files. For now I just want to see how this goes.

So let's see how this goes, shall we?
