Hetalia Drabbles

Started writing these the other day, don't know why :3 I know, I'm spamming here, but whatever~

Um, the Bass World thing, it's....it's true. My pal Lydia and I are always ignored in our tiny bass section of the orchestra, and we really are thinking of opening up a store called "Corner Snacks". Anyway.

On the Hetalia-ness!

**********

Belarus kicked down the door with maniacal glee, holding the detached door knob in her hand.  “Oh Russia~!” she called happily.  “The door that was separating us is now gone! Let’s get married.”
But Russia was not in the room.  Belarus frowned and looked around for him, but he was nowhere to be seen.  All she saw was a….Little Belarus?
“Yo,” Mirtil said, pulling a cleaver out of thin air.  “I’m Russia’s new bodyguard.  You are in violation of your restraining order.”

***

Screams rang through the haunted house as Mar, Mir, Lydia, and Thalia ran for their lives.  It wasn’t the zombies, decapitated bodies, blood, or vampires that had scared them.  No, they had laughed at all of that.  It was something far, far worse than anything else you would expect to find in a haunted house.
Poland frowned after the screaming girls.  “Like, what’s their problem?” he asked his pony.
The pony made a strange whiny noise in response.  When Poland turned away, its eyes flashed red.

***

“Yo, Iggy!” America shouted.
England sighed and turned around.  “What do you want, you git?”
The Land of the Free did his hero laugh.  “Just wanted to let you know that I’ll call you around 7:15 p.m. this Saturday to let you know the time and date France tells me for when all of the Allies are going to see the new Twilight movie!”
The next thing America knew, England was shaking him back and forth by his collar.  “Call me during Doctor Who,” he snarled, “and I’ll kill you.”

***

“No!  Not the hamburger!  Anything but the hamburger!”
China waved his wok threateningly.  “Then admit it, aru!” he roared.  Despite popular belief, China could be very scary when he wanted to.  “Admit that Hello Kitty is better than Superman!”
“I…I admit it!  Hello Kitty is better than Superman!  Now, spare the hamburger!”
Satisfied, China nodded at his accomplice.  Thalia took the blowtorch away from the McDonalds bag and tossed the heart attack in a wrapper to America, who ran far away, clutching his prize.
Thalia looked at China pointedly.  “You owe me lunch.”

***

Canada sighed and walked to the Corner of Rejection.  Everyone at the world meeting had forgotten about him.  Again.
To his surprise, there were already two girls sitting there, looking quite glum.
They waved at him.  “We’re Double Bass World,” one said.  “Population, two.  Our orchestra always forgets about us.”
“Ah,” Canada said.  He sat down next to them.  “I’m Canada.”
“Yes, we know who you are,” the other member of Double Bass World sighed.  She stared at him.  “Y’know, we’re thinking about opening a food business called Corner Snacks, for those who frequent the Corner of Rejection.  What do you think?”
“Well, as long as you have maple syrup, I guess it sounds like a good idea.”
Next time Canada visited that corner, Double Bass World had a food cart, including maple syrup.

***

Japan thought back to his first encounter with Switzerland, when he had been shocked at how different the other personified nation had been from his expectations.  He remembered how he had thought they would be dancing around in a mountain field, only to find out that Switzerland was the kind of person who would happily shoot Japan if he ever found out that that had been Japan’s idea of him.
I see now,’ Japan thought.  ‘I had him mistaken for Poland.’
“Stupid me!” he said, slapping himself lightly in the face.
Poland observed him with a bored expression.  His puffy dress bounced slightly as he cross his arms.  “So, like, are we gonna dance or not?”

Wa Wa World Ondo

Love. This. Song. SO MUCH

It makes me so incomprehensibly happy. I haven't even watched all of Paint it White (only, like, the first two minutes xD) but I still love this song.

MUST LEARN THIS DANCE. WHO'S WITH ME!?

Happy (Belated) Birthday Kallista!

WOOO HOOOOO!!!

I'm so, SO sorry I didn't get this to you on your actual birthday. Me and my family are horrible with that.

SO! Thalia said she was drawing a horse. I would draw a Seahorse, and Mir would draw a Skyhorse (MIR, GET WORKIN ON DAT!).

But I realized I couldn't draw the fish thing. Or a horse underwater in scubegear, for that matter.

SO! I drew a zebra/merman hybrid. With a mustache.

(Aaah... tilt your head to the left. A little bit more. More...good! There's your picture!)
That's me with a flying monkey on my shoulder, wearing a stolen hat, with Kallista balloons, saying HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY KALLISTA!!, and that hybrid thing.

THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO YOU BY HARRIET JONES, FORMER PRIME MINISTER.

(Yes, we know who you are)

I have to say, I love how the green swirly thing turned out.

Happy Birthday Kallista!

Happy birthday my dear Kallista! You're an amazing, wonderful, fantastic person. I know this isn't much, but I wanted you to know how much your friendship means to me.

Here's a drawing of a pony with a very fluffy pygmy monkey wearing a hat on the pony's head for you!

I wrote a story based off this for you as well!

Riding a Shetland pony was exciting, Kallista decided.

The thing was tiny – it barley came up to her waist.  But it was strong, and as soft as a cotton blanket.  The best part was the there was a tiny pygmy marmoset riding on the pony’s head.  It was even wearing a little hat!

“Sooo cuuute!”  Kallista grabbed the little monkey and cuddled it close to her face, dropping the reins of her pony.  The monkey made a funny chattering noise, waving its little arms in the air, and the pony made a noise that sounded suspiciously like “Wee-snaw.”

Kallista just laughed and cuddled the animals even more.

Her beloved Purple Poet, Octaboona Ambrosius, had arranged for her to take a ride on the Shetland today.  It was a great birthday gift.  For hours, Kallista had been riding her pony in huge circles around the field, laughing and pretending she was a pirate.  The small children gave her weird looks, but she just grinned and waved crazily before riding over to give them noogies.

Of course, it had been hard to get into the ring at all.  It was rather hard to find on her bike, and it had taken her half the day to get there.  Then there was the matter of sneaking past the police man out front.  Earlier that week, Kallista had stolen his doughnut and hijacked his police car.  It had resulted in him chasing her on her bike, shouting angrily.

But now she was here, and Kallista was very happy.  She took up the reins again and tried to turn her pony around in a little circle.  But the pony wasn’t having it.  In fact, it looked over its shoulder at Kallista and simply said “Ney” before turning towards the barn.

“Whoa!  Where are you going, pony?” Kallista asked in confusion, tugging on the reins.  The pony said “Ney” once more.  It continued toward the barn.

“Abandon ship!” Kallista screamed crazily.  She tried to get out of the saddle, but her foot got caught and she fell over awkwardly.  The monkey chattered in annoyance and poked her.  The pony dragged Kallista by her foot into the barn.  The doors of the barn slammed closed behind her, plunging Kallista into darkness.  The pony unhooked itself and trotted off.

“Hello everyone!” Kallista called cheerfully into the blackness.

Someone swore.  “Who let her know?”

“Not me!”

“Hey, stop hitting me!  I didn’t do it.”

“Roar!”

Kallista stoop up and titled her head, wondering who was actually there.  “Are we having a
party?”

“Oh, screw this, where are the lights?”

“I’ll get them!”

“Oh God no, don’t touch tha-!”

The room exploded with bright lights.  Kallista screamed and pulled her banana gun out of her pocket, waving it around like a lunatic.  The shocked faces of her friends stood out in the flashing sparkles.  Fireworks streamed everywhere, popping loudly and smacking into people’s faces.

When the last death rocket finally flew out a window, there was a soft click and the lights came
on.

“I found the lights!” Mar said cheerfully.

Mir roared angrily.  “I’m gonna eat you!”

Mar ran for the hay stack as fast as she could, Mir hot on her heels.

“Is this a government conspiracy?” Kallista asked suspiciously, ignoring the insanity of her friends.

Octa smiled and walked over to hug her.  “Nope, it’s a birthday celebration!”

As soon as he said it, about ten people propelled down from the rafters on ropes, each bearing a cake.

“Happy birthday, Kallie!” Skyril, Lizzy, and Lenka chorused.

The called echoed around the room.

“Happy birthday!”

“Happy birthday!”

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”

“Happy – Fred, stop eating the decorations – birthday!”

Kallista grinned, and ran around to give everyone noogies and hugs.  The Shetland pony she had been riding before came over and nudged Kallista.  She looked down and saw that it was holding a plate with a piece of cake on it for her in its teeth.

Kallista took the plate with a laugh, petting the pony’s head.

“Ney,” went the pony.

The monkey chatted in agreement.

Honhonhonhon~

Been watching too much Hetalia :D France has started influencing my laugh.

BUT ANYWAY~

Today is 11/11/11. Freaky, eh? In my fifth period math class, at 11:11 a.m., on the eleventh second of that minute, we all started cheering like lunatics because it was 11/11/11 11:11:11. My teacher just gave us an odd look and shook her head.

It. Was. AWESOME.

Kalinka

"Kalinka" is a super famous Russian folk song, as well as one of my favorite songs of all time. So great for dancing :D 6 or 7 years ago (oh God so long agoooooo) I did a traditional Russian dance with a couple of other Russian kids at my old school, including my brother (he wasn't very pleased xD). Aaahhhh, it was so much fun. I wasn't supposed to be able to do it. I was too young. But I was watching one of the practices, and there weren't enough girls or something? So the director pointed at me and this is what happened:

Director: You!
Me: Yes?
Director: You're Rupert's little sister, correct?
Me: Yes.
Director: So you're half Russian too! You wanna do this dance with us? We need another girl.
Me: Aren't I too young?
Director: Ah, that doesn't matter. Get up here!

So I went up there and learned a traditional Russian dance. Really fun, but really hard! I got to wear a cool outfit for the dance, though, so that's good.

Anyway, moral of the story, Russian folk music is awesome. I just recently found this song again after so many years and screamed when I heard it. Also totally in love with this awesome balalaika version of the song (a balalaika is a Russian instrument, shaped sort of like a guitar, as seen in the video picture)

I wanted to add a video of the dance we did, but I couldn't find one on Youtube that was similar. Apparently we did a very dumbed-down version of the dance lol.

The slow parts of this dance are sort of like what the girls did, but I still think ours was simpler.

That and there was only one other girl dancing besides me when we did it xD

Yes, I got to wear one of those awesome crown thingies on my head.

This dance here is most definitely NOT what we did, but it's totally amazing nonetheless.

So yeah.

Happy Candy Stealing Day Everyone!

Good All Hallows Eve to you all, this is Mir! I'm about to embark on a quest to collect sweet stuffs and to scare the living daylights out of anything in range. :D I'm veeerrrryyyy curious as to what everyone is being for Halloween this year. As for me, I'm going as her:

It's Belarus from Hetalia!
Aanndd... A full body shot.

She likes to stalk her brother, and is kinda blood thirsty. She fits me perfectly! (But I don't have an older brother to stalk, so I just make it up by putting small creepy drawings in Thal's locker. XD ) Ahh.., yes, and one more thing.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM THE SNAPE-O-LANTERN!

The Time Management of Mar

I've followed Thalia's lead and have taken this advantage to use our wonderful blog, instead of a glog.

(The following is for the Enrichment Science online course I'm taking as well)

The past month has been comprised of lots of reminders written on hands, frantic booting up of computers, and always having the date somewhere nearby. Quite frankly, I'm proud of myself for not slacking in this and completely forgetting about it.

(And I may have associated Ianto Jones as the person who, if real, would most likely be the one to remind me, so every time I watch the Torchwood series and see him, I may be reminded as well, and am forced by guilt to shut off the episode and do the course)

Ianto: You did what?

But I definitely think I could've improved a bit with keeping up with the course.

It's been kinda fun, I have to say, however. It's new, and let's face it, we humans like new things. New new new. If it's been there for awhile it's borning. Old. Dull (e.i. all those new cellphones, another one coming out every week. There's so many!) I've never tried a online course before. So It's interesting.

What's worked for me? How nicely it fits into my week. You give us a period of time, usually one week, and we have multiple chances to do whatever the assignment is in that period of time. It's not like it's assigned one day, then three days later it's due. That's be ridiculous.

However, sometimes the online sites don't work, and I grow concerned. But, I wait a day and it's back to normal, aka workable. That's about it for what doesn't work.

(Oh, and not feeding the Pterodactyls. It's a good distraction for them when your trying to run away, throwing a sandwich or two their way. I tend to do that)

Tips for a online course? Well, let's start with a little bullet point...

-Don't procrastinate over it. It'll just make you dread it a bit more, and make you completely push it out of your mind to avoid panic- until the last minute. Then that feeling comes back.

-Don't do other things at the same time your doing the assignments, for gods sake! Multitask, and there's a greater chance of you getting something wrong, or completely missing something.

-Wear a bunny wearing a big handlebar mustache on your head every time you log in.

-Feel free to ignore the tip above this one.

He's a cute one, isn't he?

Now, I'm off to watch them-

-Rose Tyler, The Ninth Doctor, and Captain Jack Harkness, who will hopefully save the world from a poor, alien influenced child, in the London blitz.

...yes, I watch British sci fi as well.

Allons-y!

(Completely useless video that is only at the end of post to add a special effect and to give Allons-y a one minute and thirty three second spotlight)

Time Managment

This is for my Enrichment Science online course.

Now, online courses require a lot of timeliness and responsibility, I've learned. I mean, we're not all Doctor Who....

And we don't all have a TARDIS......

So we can't travel back in time to do our homework if we forget.

What has helped me over the last month, you ask? Well, I used those Sticky Note things on my computer to put reminders on my desktop. Of course, they always gave me a heart attack when I saw them because I forgot they were there, but that's a story for another time.

I'm also pretty good at remembering things I need to do, but dear Lord, I procrastinate like nobodies business. That's what HASN'T worked for me. It's my own fault, I know. I personally think this course is rather well orientated for people with cramped schedules. You have a week to do the homework, and if you don't do it, it's not the fault of the course. It's your own.

I have some tips for others in the course. Granted, they're probably not very good tips, but they're tips nonetheless.

And sooo........

1) Put a reminder somewhere you would see it often, like I did with my computer.

2) Try to work on the homework the same time each week.

3) Don't get distracted while you try to do the homework. Don't get up to eat or drink unless it's dinner and you're required to, or if you're, you know, dying of thirst or hunger. Dying isn't good. But if it's just a "I'm a little hungry/thirsty, so I'll go get some food/something to drink to put off this homework" case, DON'T GIVE IN! BE STRONG! Don't do things on the web that aren't school related, either.

4) Don't go on Facebook. I don't have one, but the rest of my family does, and from what I can tell, it's a real time-sucker. Same goes for email, for those like me who still use it.

5) Don't put off your work until the last moment. This is something I have to work on as well.

6) If there happens to be a horse following you everywhere and you think you're on a spaceship that's linked across time to pre-revolutionary France, call the insane asylum immediately.

And if they turn you down, call Torchwood.

Yes, I love British TV shows. And yes, I am probably insane.

But ignoring my last little bullet, the other five could be useful, depending on who you are. And now I've run out of things to say. There are no more questions I'm required to answer. But I don't want to end this post here. I need to think of a clever ending. I don't have a clever ending, though. But I don't want to leave with a dull ending. That'd be....well, dull.

I don't like things to be dull. I like things to be exciting.

So here's a cat called a ragamuffin cat.

Eye Doctor

I'm going to the doctor soon. And no, it's not David Tennant (sadness). It's the eye doctor. I'm scared. I've never been to one. Does it hurt? What do they do? Will they steal my brain? Will they eat my arm? WHAT!?

I'm going because I've been getting a lot of eye strain lately and far away things seem fuzzy. Probably why I've been so crabby.

My cat is in front of my screen. Move, cat.

*moves cat*

Now, I'm going to make myself something to eat.

*rides away on the Cat Bus*

Why Is Math Homework So Boring?

Totally valid question. It's not hard or anything, but God, it's boring. I have even surpassed the "I'm-so-bored-I-think-I'm-hungry" phase. I have reached the phase where I'm working like a machine to get it done, not thinking about it, not even really seeing my paper, just my brain going on total calculator mode and cranking out answers. I've only really come out of this daze to change the song on my iPod, pretend my bendy ruler is a shark, type this post, and to briefly consider punching myself in the face just to do something else.

I didn't do it, if you're wondering. I cracked my knuckles instead. It's still a possibility, though.

Did you know? I typed this whole thing on an iPad. And I hate typing on iPads. So you know that I must be pretty committed to finding something else to do to type on here. But I've gotten pretty good at this, if I do say so myself.

I finished Death Bringer. It was so brilliant.

Sigh. OK, OK, I'll stop rambling and get to work.
.....
Sigh.

Yo

I haven't been on much lately. Sorry about that. But homework, plus an older brother who has homework, and only one laptop between us leads to....complications.

But I think I'll be on this weekend. I think.

And I have been writing, so you all know. I've taken to using Google Docs for certain things. While it's really not that good in terms of formatting, and it's hard to re-format the stuff I've written when I put it on Microsoft Word....I can work on the stuff on there anywhere.

So, just a quick update. Now, back to work.

*grabs a shovel and goes searching in a pile of homework for her math notes*

Oh, and Mar has lent me her copy of Death Bringer. It's. BRILLIANT.

I swear to god...

The School is being taken over by wolf spiders.

There was first a HUGE one in the Gym, which I nearly had a nervous breakdown when I saw it...and it started crawling towards me.  Thank god the freaky new gym teacher freakin' MOCKED us girls who were nearing hysterics (I already WAS, thank you very much,) and then stepped on it (sarcasm, ehem) It made a smear on the ground with its guts.

Then, today, there was a spider in the ORCHESTRA CLASSROOM!

I saw one guy say to another girl (who has a pastel pink violin, may I add) that he'd do it, and took a tissue from her. He then noted that he could have usually been scared.

So not even a seat away from me, (diagonal, however,) he bends down next to the pink violin's case, tissue in hand. I'm looking his way to find out what the heck's he doing...

but then I saw the biggest spider.

Leaping back in my chair, I pressed my hand to my mouth, or else I would've probably screamed, or shrieked, and squeaked, or whatever. I'm hyperventilating, and am this close to having a mental and nervous breakdown.

Again.

But, the guy squished the nasty thing, and I gradually calmed down.

I swear to god, if there's another spider in this school, I'm gonna smash some stuff...

...but not spiders. Creepy, man. They're so creepy...terrifyingly creepy.

I think it's safe to say I have a slight case of arachnophobia.

*reads what exactly people who have arachnophobia feel*

...scratch that, I have arachnophobia.

The Doctor Runs Cross Country

Hi!

I'm just dropping by to say sorry I haven't really been on that much this week, I'm a bit swamped with Math and Cross Country (I had my first meet today. It was fun, I guess. Some kid on the bus made a prank call, and it all looked as if we were choking, trying not to laugh our heads off in the background), and reading Death Bringer. CC went well. I got 29th place out of 30 girls, and I had about 25 minutes and 50 seconds, if I do remember correctly. Its my new personal best. But thats not really saying much, because It was my first meet so...

Math's really tricky for me, cuz I've always been horrible at it, but this year I'm getting better. (I think. I may just be putting in all the wrong answers and thinking its right).

BUT- I'm gonna be on in the weekends. But there is that party on saturday night, an I have stupid sunday school where I don't learn nothin, and then theres also that I need to get new glasses, and some teacher hinted that they were giving hs homework on the weekend...

Oh, and I've changed my mind about Halloween. I'm being the Doctor instead. (But I'm being the tenth doctor, because a girl on my bus reserved the rights to be the one who dressed up at 11 on our street. She's even looking for a fez. But I can find red high top converse. SERIOUSLY?! WHERE CAN YOU FIND SOME?!?)

Tell everyone this, so they won't be missing me, or think I deserted you weird bloggers or something like that.

Rain

It's raining. But this isn't surprising. What's surprising it that there's blue sky visible out my window. It's just the cloud over my house that's raining. It's huge and slowly expanding, sure, but it's going VERY slowly. And this is a perfectly example of how life can go sometimes and just LAUGH IN YOUR FACE.

HAR DE HAR HAR

EDIT: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?!?!??! For, like, one minute the rain was coming down really hard, there was hail, and you could hear the wind howling! The trees were (still are, actually) blowing back and forth. It keeps starting up like that over and over! AND I CAN STILL SEE BLUE SKY. It can't be a hurricane! We don't live near the coast, and hurricanes can't form on lakes, can they? Oh, and there goes the thunder. La de da. This is horrifying.

EDIT 2: So it's sort of clearing up right now? Anyway. Our trash cans were put out because it's trash collecting day, and one of them got blown out into the street. I couldn't just LEAVE it there, so I put on some shoes and my coat, and ran out there to fix it. It took me about 30 seconds.

And I got soaked.

My hair that was sticking out of my hood? Soaked. My jeans? Soaked. My coat and shoes? Soaked.

My shoes are stuffed with paper now and by a heating vent. My coat and pants are hanging up and I have new jeans on. It was crazy.

Night Of The Living Gillbirds

Look! A Flying Gilbird!

Heh. Well, anyway, I have a plan for Halloween this year.

It includes Frying pans.

I just knew you shivered in terror just then.

I will be Repunzel from Tangled, with a poofy purple dress and a steel fryingpan. HA HAH!

I'm going to hunt down a little critter friend though.  Maybe a gilbird. Maybe...

Of course, I'll have to dye my hair brown, unless I want to be the Repunzel at the end of the movie. Then maybe the dress'll be shorter, and I'll be wearing boots. Because there is no way I'm trick or treating (AKA Candy Hunting) in purple slippers.

I think I'll dye my hair blond, and get a few blond extensions. Never tried extensions. It'll be interesting.

I remember one year I said I was going to be a squirrel for halloween...then I said I was a roadkill squirrel...

...don't ask. I was delirious with getting hit in the face with a kickball.

Anyway, I need to pack my backpack and dream weird dreams of flying rainbow Dragons stealing the TARDIS in China of 5007, and David and Matt running from remnents, crashing through walls and pulling me and Thalia away from our Ramen.

Yep.

Good times, good times...

Remembering 9/11

OK, I was really little when 9/11 happened. So little that I don't even remember it. And nobody talked about it to me. I think my parents didn't want to scare me because I was so young. And at the school I went to back then, the teachers didn't really talk about anything that happened in the real world :/ The result was that I was really ignorant about 9/11 - and a lot of other things that happened in the world too - until I switched schools.

Today, even though I don't remember it, I understand the horror of that day. So many people lost their lives. The other day I looked up video clips of what happened, and I just burst into tears, it was so awful.

Today is the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Everyone, please remember the fallen. God bless those who lost their lives and loved ones on that day.

My grandma had a Weeping Angel in her garden. The entire family reunion, I was terrified.

How Many of You Got It? ///and other stuff///

OK. First part of the title applies to two things.

One: How many of you got Death Bringer yet? I didn't. My mum said she would order it on Amazon UK for me, so I have to remind her of that.

Two: How do you lot pronounce my name?. I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. According at least to how people at my school say it, there's a lot of ways to say "Thalia". No matter the "right" way, I have a certain way I pronounce it. I'm not saying "Change how you say it in your head. Now." because that's your way and what works for you~. I just want to see if anyone (besides Mar and Mir, because I've told them this countless numbers of time) pronounces it the same way I do.

So, first, other ways I've heard it said. By the by, the 'uh''s in my pronunciations are pronouced like the 'a' in 'a cat', but I didn't want to type 'a' in case some of you pronounce your single 'a''s like 'aye'. Anyway, here:

- Thal-ee-uh
- Th-all-ee-uh
- Tha-lay-uh

And, now, here's how I say it:

- Tha-lee-uh

I'm doing this out of pure curiosity. How many of you pronouced my name the way I do it? And how many of you do it the other ways I listed? Or some other way?

And now, other stuff, because I've realized some of my posts on here are ridiculously short.

So.

Um.

I feel like I could take a nap right now. But at the same time not. I'm at a loss for what to do. I've already done my chores and my only homework, so I'm completely confused. I'll probably end up wandering around the house with a completely bewildered look on my face, but that might worry my parents......

....Anyway.....

Over the past few days, I've notice that I'm really hyper in science class. I don't even know WHY. Maybe because my teacher is just awesome. Maybe because I love the topic. Maybe it's just pent-up energy. Maybe all three. I DON'T KNOW.

But apparently, yesterday was Happy Tues. Tues. Today was Happy Wen. Wen. Tomorrow is Happy Thur. Thur.

Oh, one last thing. I'm slightly re-doing my OC's bio. Again. I just wasn't satisfied. Sorry all, but I think Mar is the only one who's put her in a story that described her....? Anyway. That is all.

I Need A Haircut

So I figured out yesterday that if I actually take a brush and move my bangs out of my face with it, they'll stay there and I'll be able to see.
.....
.....
Yeah.

WAGH

*hyperventilates*

So many posts to catch up on. SO many......

I have around a week and a half until school starts. During that time, I'll plow my way through them all!

'Cuz I can't do it tonight. Blood sugar is low. I was sitting in a car from 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. We waited at the border for an hour. A WHOLE DARN  HOUR.

Bored

Turns out my part in the packing frenzy was smaller and quicker than I expected it to be.

All I have left to do is decide which books I'm going to lug up to Canada with me this year.

When boredom strikes, turn to Google

I have utterly NOTHING to do today. I've already checked the blog, my email, and brainlessly watched videos on Youtube. So I turned to the all-knowing God Google for help. I randomly got the urge to search "Thalia Jane Circe", than every other person I knew. So here you have it, every single follower of this blogs Google result numbers. (even though some of the results have nothing to do with our blogger names)

Thalia- About 399,000 results
(0.18 seconds)

March- About 21,500,000 results
(0.18 seconds)

Everisse- About 294 results

Ann- About 16,600,000 results

A Post About Stuff

Okay. I woke up about 50 minutes ago and found out it was noon. Which irks me because:

a) That means I slept for 12 whole hours, and I hate sleeping for long periods of time.

b) I only have twelve hours left in my day, and only if I stay up 'til midnight again.

It's irritating. But I'll get over it.

Okay, uhhhh....OH YEAH! I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two yesterday! It was so awesome~. I'm not going to give anything away in case anyone hasn't seen it yet, but I cried a lot :P Very sad, but very good.

And now it's all over. The books, the movies....everything. I'd be lying if I said that that wasn't part of the reason I cried. I've grown up with Harry Potter and now.....well, such a big part of my childhood has come to an end. So...

To J.K. Rowling -

Thank you for providing me with such a wonderful adventure. I loved every moment of it. Every word in the books and every scene in the movies was such a treasure. Starting today, I'm going to re-read all the books. And when I'm done with that, I'm going to re-watch all the movies. So I guess this isn't really goodbye, then. 'Cause I'm always going to be able to go back and re-live the adventure :D

I swear, when I'm an adult, I'm going to make my kid(s) read these books. IT WILL NOT BE AN OPTION. IT'S A REQUIREMENT.

First

I, March Pathway, do so believe, that I am the first to post something, on this blog, from on top of a mountain.

...um, I just looked around, and there was a chipmunk right next to me.

Like, three inches close.

We took lots of pictures.

When I get back, I will show you all. Because it was freakin CUTE!

Bleh

It's, like, 10:25 a.m. and I'm already bored. I've already gotten up, eaten breakfast, checked my email and blogger, checked dA, put away laundry, brushed my hair, written, played with the cats, drawn, listened to music, watched TV, put away my shoes, and read.

What do I do the rest of the day?

You know...

...I was thinking, that what will blogland be like in five years? Or ten years from now? What will all of your lives be like?

Maybe we will have met each other in person. Or, maybe we've had all walked away from this strange little place tucked away in the webernet, and the blogs are just a small memory.

What about in twenty years? Will one day, maybe so many miles from where you first discovered blogland, you'll come back, and scroll through all the comments, posts, stories and pictures, and post another comment, one more, a feeble attempt to see if anyone was still there.

"Hello?"

And maybe someone will see that later, may it be a few hours, or a few months.

But what if you forget all about blogland, until many, many years later, when you are older then you thought you would have lived, and smile as you remember everything that you did.

But if you DO remember, be sure to remember me. Because I rock. And the soundtrack I'm listening to just switches from a sad song to a action song. Ah, modern literature.

I Went To Camp Dressed As Skulduggery Pleasant

I didn't do a very good job, though. It was super hot today and I was in a rush, so I just threw on black shorts, a white t-shirt, my suit jacket, and my fedora. I plan to do better for Halloween this year :P

But it was fun, though. My friend Ariah dressed up as Valkyrie. The lady in charge of the camp took a picture of us, and Ariah did a finger gun at my head. I didn't notice until AFTER the picture was taken, and then I was all "ROOOOOAAAARRRR, VALKYRIE DOESN'T HAVE A GUUUUNNNNN!!!!!!". So then I made the lady take another picture, where we were both making finger guns at each other's heads.

Later, we went and danced the Cha Cha Slide at the boy's camp football game, and I had taken my hat off, and Ariah TOOK IT. So right before we went onto the field to dance, I chased Ariah around barefoot screaming "GIMME MY HAT, WOMAN. GIMME THE FREAKING HAT!" And then I got the hat and I spazzed around as we danced :D The End.

Hetalia wishes you a happy Birth Day America!

For All of my fellow Hetalia Fans~

O! Say Can You See? By The Dawn’s Early Light....

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Have fun, smile, and set off explosives!

Over all, I think my day was okay.

Our internet got fixed. I helped put painters tape down on the porch. Then we went to the pool for 3 or so hours. Then we came home and I worked some more on the porch. Then we had dinner. Then we played with sparklers. The end.

I'm trying to remember some funny conversation I had with someone, but I am failing miserably. I'll edit this when and if I ever remember....

EDIT: I remember now! But, first, the porch is done and it looks awesome! I'll upload pictures tomorrow. Anyway, Rupert (my brother), Rupert's friend (who we will call Z), and I were having a conversation about Uganda, because Z thought I said 'Uganda' when I said 'gondola'. Then Z was like "Hey, if you go to Antarctica, couldn't you just establish your own country?" And then everything went downhill from there. But now if I ever go to Antarctica, I'll make my own country.

And it'll be called "The-Place-Thalia-Went-Because-No-Other-Continent-Let-Her-Make-Her-Country-There-Land."

Be sure to visit.

We have penguins.

In The American Spirit

Today is just so full of celebratoryness. Everyone is so obsessed with being as American as they can be. My Mother insisted that we go out and plant red, white, and blue flowers in our garden because the garden is a wreck anyway. My neighbors are having a gigantic party right next door, and I can hear the music from it through my headphones. Even my cat is trying to celebrate by using his hairballs as fireworks.... And yet, I'd rather sit down, eat a bowl of pasta, and go right back to bed. I have a good reason to want to sleep this holiday out, I have to go to camp tomorrow, where I will face various annoying people who curse for no reason, and like to pick fights. I'll stay up until I get to set off many minor explosive devices, than it's onward to dreamy hill form me.

It's So Interesting.

RAWR.

I'm angry because James Patterson already dominated the winged-child writing technique with Maximum Ride.

SO RAWR.

It's just so...interesting, and you want to hear more, and write more, and see more of their cool covers.

When I have a book, I want mine to have cool covers.

Indecision

God, I hate it. I write something, or create a character, and I'm satisfied for, like, a day. Two at most. But then I see things I can improve, get rid of, add, when I've already shared it and announced it final. Like my OC. There's a lot I want to change with her. But I've already edited her once, I don't want to do so again because I'd be seriously changing nearly everything. I could make a new character, but then I'd feel guilty because I'd probably end up using that character more than my OC and........

ASDFGHJKL

I am a wreck right now, approach with caution.

One of Those Days...

Today was just one of those days, where you wake up feeling like a zombie, and so groggy that you just want to curl up under your covers and go back to sleep. For some reason nothing seems to be amusing, and the sky outside is overcast with heavy gray clouds that make it look like it's going to rain. All in all, the world just seems to be one big blob of nothingness. Because of this depressing mood, I was not able to go outside and do my daily round of pull-ups on the monkey bars. I curse my boring fate.

Just Wondering...

I was just thinking..., does anyone else see a certain letter or number and think of a certain color? Maybe it's just me, but I always think of three as orange, or eight as purple, or nine as hot pink. Please tell me I'm not crazy, and that this is normal. (But than again, I'm not what most people would call normal.) Also, is anyone really craving poptarts right now?

WONDERLAND ADVENTURES

Kallista, Ann, and I had an adventure in Wonderland. Enjoy, and pray that you keep your brains, for they may explode because of the awesomeness.

You can find the original here on Derek's blog: http://dereklandy.blogspot.com/2011/06/end-of-world.html?commentPage=17
___________________________________________________________________________

Thalia: *wanders randomly through Blogland*

*trips and goes tumbling back down the rabbit hole*

Wonderland, here I come!
-
Thalia: *continues to tumble down for quite a while*

*head is hit by a rock someone kicked down the rabbit hole*

*shakes fist*

OI! WATCH IT! THERE ARE PEOPLE - WAH

*crashes onto a soft mound of earth and grass*

*realizes she has been changed from her PJ's into a frilly Gothic Lolita dress*

Oh jeez.
-
Kallista: *lurks in the shadows and eyes Thalia crazily dressed as the mad hatter*
-
Thalia: *gets up and brushes off her dress, then starts down the random hallway in front of her*

We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz...

*comes to a small circular room lined with doors*

*tries and fails to open all the locked doors*

*finds a key on a small, glass table*

Huh.

*tries the key in all the doors, but they don't open*

Hm. Wait...

*finds a small, hidden door, about 15 inches high*

*tries the key*

Ah-ha! It works!

*feels like she is being watched*

*glances around*

*shrugs*

Now, how to get through the door....
-
Thalia: *looks at the glass table again*

*finds a small bottle labeled "Drink Me"*

Well. It doesn't have ridges on the sides, so it's not poison. I might as well. But I've read this story.

*pockets the key*

No giant-making cake for me.

*drinks the contents of the bottle*
-
Thalia: *nothing happens*

*frowns*

Wait, aren't I supposed to, y'know, SHRINK!?

*scowls*

*sits cross legged on the ground*

*room randomly floods with water*

Oh, yes, very classy.

*swims with the current*
-
Thalia: *comes out at the edge of a forest, somehow still dry*

*finds herself surround by dinosaurs*

*turns and bows to the T-Rex*

Me: Hello good sir. Would you mind telling me where I am?

T.R.: If you participate in a Dinosaur Race, I will.

Me: Bring it.

*Thalia and all the dinosaurs line up and begin running around in circles, screaming and flailing their limbs*
-
Thalia: *holds out hand to Kallista and grins*

Would you like to join my adventures?
-
Kallista: Why Sure!

*grins and goes to take Thalia's hands*

*slips on a banana peel and shoots right past her, screaming crazily*

*stops abruptly as she crashes spread eagle against the wall*
-
Thalia: ....

*peals Kallista off the wall*

*has her join the Dinosaur Race*
-
Kallista: *screams crazily as she gets trampled by the dinos*

*jumps back up and chases then around in circles while shaking her fist angrily in the air*
-
Thalia: *abruptly stops running*

*turns to the T-Rex*

Me: Now, tell us where we are.

T.R.: Well, about that....

*dinosaurs try to eat Kallista and I*

Me: *screams like a little girl*

Run!

*grabs Kallista and runs away crazily*
-
Ann: *comes across random rabbit hole*

*tosses pebbles into it*

*listens closely for echo*

*hears... screaming... and roaring?*
-
Thalia: *screams as pebbles hit her in the head*

OI!
-
Kallista: *flips Thalia on her back and runs like the dickens away from the roaring beasts*

*grabs her trusty banana gun and fires rapid shots behind her as she goes*

*disgards the empty banana skins and races on*

*smiles as she hears the angry roars of the dino's as they loose thier footing from the banan peels*

REG
-
Thalia: *laughs crazily at the sound of falling dinos*

Now! To find the Cheshire Cat and the March Hare!
-

Paint

Okay, so I was at a hardware store earlier with my mum, and I went over to look at paint swatches (is that how it's spelled?). I found this very nice purple color (that went amazingly well with a deep red, by the way) and guess what it was called.

Poetic Purple.

Does that remind you of anyone...? Perhaps....a certain purple poet?

This message was brought to you by Thalia's one thousand and seven bug bites.

Tired and Cranky, Ignore Me Please~

Does anyone else find the verification words on some blogs hysterical? I can't think of an example right now, but they're funny to me :P

Sorry, desperately trying to amuse myself.

BEST. NAME. EVER.

This is a big, sweet tempered cat that stays a kitten for four years.

Did you guess what it is?

Did you?

Huh?

Huh?

No?

Well....

It's the ragamuffin cat.

Yep.

Best. Name. Ever.

Quote

The quote from the show I'm currently watching on Animal Planet, called The Haunted. This episode is Murder in Room 12. The woman who owned the haunted place just said this.

"It's one thing for someone to just die in the room.  It's another for someone to have been murdered."

Not sure if that's the exact wording, but it's really close. Just thought it was interesting.

Magical Flashlights of Narnia

......I actually have a magical flashlight of Narnia.

Well, I wanted to say something funny and clever, but my tired brain is too....well, tired to think anything up.

But school's out. Woot.

Great race day #1 (Mir)

Okay, by now I'm feeling to lazy to really talk about the great race. You know what it is by now, right? It's just a blending of different colors, like someone spilled an entire rack of paint, and the paint took human form and began to scramble themselves into different teams. The result? RAINBOW OF UTTER DEATH AND DESTRUCTION! Or as we know it, The Great Race. Other than the fact that our team had THE CHEESIEST cheer ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET, I had a pretty good time. I got to do both of my events, the 800 meter relay, and the long jump. Thalia said I looked fast, but I'm still going to start training for next year right about now. I hate the fact that people think small people are slow because they aren't as big as other people, but I shall prove that's a lie. LIES! LLIIIIEEEESSSSS! It was also as hot as  the inside of an oven today. Considering that I'm a chibi demon, I'm not supposed to be exposed to direct sunlight for to long., I was nearly baked into a demon pie by the heat today. But, knowing the weather from where I come from, It could be as cold as the fall on Tuesday. But for now, THE LIGHT, IT BBBUUURRRNNSSS!

Great Race Day One- From Mar's Point of view...

Hah. I refered to myself in the title in third person. Tee-hee.

Okay. Well. As Thalia said in the post before this, we have this field day thing called the Great Race. What did you describe...um, well...color...yeah...partner pride...yes...pickles...uh huh...you're doing three events all together? Lucky...

Well, to say more on the penguins and pickles, it started with a pickle penguin named Red. I started telling the story to Mr. K (Reading teacher), but had to go cheer my team. Meanwhile, Thalia finished telling Mr. K the story. But she thought Red was a pickle, not a penguin. So Red became a pickle penguin.

Hah.

Yaaaaaaay~

Oh, and I SUCK at throwing. Just saying.

Now, I must show you this penguin with a pickle SHIRT...
